10 Tips to De-stress at Home

1. Daily Exercise – Exercise helps to boost endorphins and reduce stress – Experts have shown that only 20 minutes a day is all you need to experience the benefits. Find and exercise or activity that you really enjoy is the main thing, whether its dancing or swimming any activity is good to increase your mood.

3. Drink green tea – Green tea is very soothing—it contains theanine, an amino acid that gives flavour to green tea and also promotes relaxation. So, drink green tea, and avoid caffeinated beverages, since caffeine can worsen the stress response.

4. Laugh – Laughter really is the best medicine. It is proven to lower tension, and at the same time, improves blood flow and the health of your heart.

5. Get some fresh air – If you are cooped up inside all day, take a few minutes to get outside and see the sun. A little time in the great outdoors can improve your mood and help you relax. 10. Meditate – Meditation can be a great way to relax, especially if you are under a lot of stress. Research has shown that meditation can be helpful in lowering heart rate and blood pressure, and even improving cognitive performance.
